Abstract

Matrix operations involving QR decomposition and singular value decomposition (SVD) use Householder reflection and Givens rotation routinely. Many algorithms use Householder reflection to decompose a fully populated matrix into bidiagonal form. The Givens rotation is used to complete diagonalization.
