Students at Rowan University are enjoying the benefits of National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance's (NCIIA) venture capital fund. The venture capital fund, developed by NCIIA, provides funds for the development of original inventions by multidisciplinary students teams within Junior and Senior Engineering Clinics. A steady-state participation level of four projects per semester is anticipated from the multidisciplinary teams. It is pointed out that active participation of a cadre of faculty is a must for the success of venture capital fund.
