Synthesis of Substituted 5,6‐Dihydro‐2H‐pyran‐2‐ones and their Reaction with Bromine The synthesis of the substituted 5,6‐dihydro‐2H‐pyran‐2‐ones 2a–f and the reaction of 2a–e and 1g with bromine to 3a–f are described.
