Abstract

The STP transfer is a safe and reliable operation to reposition the hand with advanced flexion contractures. Surgery is often performed in combination with other procedures to provide a permanent and predictable correction of the hand and wrist position. A high rate of satisfaction has been reported by patients and caregivers.
