Abstract

The development and test methods of rubrics which maps performance of students for junior/senior-level assignments are discussed. The rubrics are tested for inter-rater reliability which yield score within 0.5 of that assigned by entire faculty. The specific changes includes introduction of product engineering and economics to adjust topical coverage in thermodynamics. The aim of rubrics is to help guide selection of course objectives across the curriculum.
