Poverty, entrepreneurship, and digitalization: A review and future research agenda

Abstract

Digitalization is a critical area for entrepreneurs. However, the context of poverty is still under researched. To address this gap, our study will present a multi-level perspective, including individual- A nd firm-level concepts such as digital literacy and absorptive capacity as well as ecosystem views on how digitalization intersects with poverty entrepreneurship. This is followed by a discussion of future research avenues.
