Best Practices for Undergraduate Student Research Programs. This book brings to light the important research and training that takes place at predominantly undergraduate institutions (PUIs). The purpose of this work is threefold: to disseminate important physical chemistry results to the chemistry and physics communities; to demonstrate that it is possible to involve undergraduates in publishable physical chemistry research; and to provide guidance on how to approach the challenges of physical chemistry research at a PUI.
