Photonic weight banks based on multimode fiber for neuromorphic networks

Abstract

We demonstrate a photonic weight bank for neuromorphic computing by using multimode fibers. Weights control for multiple inputs of a photonic neuron are achieved by tuning the coupling power to the modes in multimode fibers.
