Abstract
Pancreatic cancer is associated with a poor prognosis, even with resectable disease. For patients who are surgical candidates, optimal treatment with perioperative chemotherapy and/or local radiation therapy remains the mainstay of treatment. Appropriate staging is critical to guide management.
