Abstract
Modification of filter responses by the application of a generalized bilinear transformation and the inverse bilinear transformation was investigated. The responses of low-pass, high-pass, band-pass and band-elimination filters were considered. It was shown that the digital filter has an analog counterpart where an inductance is replaced by a series combination of an inductor and a resistor.
