Abstract

We present electron spin resonance measurements on single crystals of La_1.2Sr_1.8Mn₂O₇. A well-resolved multiline spectrum is observed. There is one paramagnetic resonance line for temperatures above the ordering temperatures. The other lines turn out to arise from a small (< 0.1%) volume fraction of intergrowths.
