We present low-field dc magnetization and ac hysteresis-loop measurements in RTi2Ga4. It is found that the coercive field increases rapidly as T drops below the Curie temperature. This helps in clarifying the nature of the magnetic ordering transition and resolving an apparent paradox reported in this journal recently [JMMM 119 (1993) L5].
