Abstract

The occurrence of high temperature ferromagnetism in pulsed laser deposited, semiconducting, optically highly transparent Co doped thin films of Sn1-xCoxO2-δ was discussed. The films exhibited ferromagnetism with a Curie temperature of 650 K. A giant magnetic moment of approximately 7.5 μB/Co was also exhibited.
