Abstract

This work demonstrates that some of the techniques of basic electric circuit analysis can be used in the analysis of engineering structures such as trusses, bridges and frames. Three techniques are considered: Superposition theorem; Kirchoff's Current Law (KCL); and Cut-set analysis. It is shown that these three techniques can be effectively used in the analysis of trusses.
