Abstract

Reverse osmosis has been shown to be an effective process for the removal of cadmium from industrial process effluents. Studies examined the effects of process variables on removal efficiencies and permeate production. Alternate treatment methodologies and utilization of reverse osmosis in a reuse and recovery system are discussed.
