Abstract

The use of a set of very large scale integration (VLSI) circuits for implementing a voltage dependent dendrite segment was described. The reproduction of the electrical functionality of the dendrite segment was used for demonstrating the full functionality of a neuron. The applications of the neural functions in neural behavior modeling were also discussed.
