Abstract
The intergranular AC susceptibility loss peak in high-Tc superconductors is measured as a function of frequency and field amplitude. The variation of peak temperature with frequency is strongly influenced by the grain size. For large grains, the maximum loss increases with field amplitude. This is ascribed to a non-zero intergranular lower critical field Hc1.
