Mathematics Education  Teacher Development
My scholarly work is in two major domains: directing grantfunded projects that provide professional development to mathematics teachers and researching teacher development.
The purpose of my grantfunded projects has been to provide professional development to teachers in grades K to 12 to help them develop their understandings of mathematics content, mathematics learning, mathematics teaching, and mathematics state standards. My research focuses on teachers’ mathematical conceptions and how those conceptions develop.
